IRELAND: Newgrange, Trim Castle & Bective Abbey | TRAVEL VLOG
Newgrange, aka BrÃē na BÃŗinne, was one of the top places on my list to visit in Ireland. It’s a Neolithic passage-type burial chamber that was built around 3200 BC, making it older than both Stonehenge and the Egyptian Pyramids! On my first full day in Ireland, I took a small group tour that went there, as well as to The Hill of Tara, Bective Abbey, and Trim Castle. We even visited a fairy tree and made wishes!
I HIGHLY recommend Sacred Irish Tours (http://www.sacredirishtours.com/) with Liam Lawlor! He was amazingly knowledgeable, but more importantly, he is obviously passionate about the subject and made the whole day fascinating!
